In an era of "trollism" and post-truth facts, reputation has become the world’s most stable currency. But unlike money, it cannot be printed—it must be earned. Salim Kadıbeşegil, the pioneering "reputation warrior," returns with a definitive roadmap for the modern leader.
Currency of Trust challenges the traditional business mindset, arguing that reputation is not a mere PR project, but a core philosophy. From the provocative warning that "If you don't manage your reputation, your competitors will," to the nuanced reality that "Perceptions are real, but facts are only ‘really’ real," Kadıbeşegil explores the high-stakes league of corporate performance.
Inside, you will discover:
- The earned roadmap: Why brands make promises, but only reputation creates lasting value.
- The warning signs: How to spot a crisis when it’s "already coming" and how to lead through the storm.
- The human element: Why stories—not data—tell the world what kind of company you truly are.
- The boundaries: An unfiltered look at why reputation management fails in the worlds of politics, sports, and sex.
Acclaimed by industry titans as a "multi-dimensional guide that sheds light on the business world," this book is for the executive who knows that when reputation is on the board agenda, everything else follows. Don't leave your legacy to chance. Learn to manage the only asset that stays with you for a lifetime.
