Detective Meraqi by Cenk Sabah Tuzcu

Meraqî is no ordinary detective. Called upon only by respected law enforcement agencies, both local and international, he takes on the most complex murder cases. His true identity remains a mystery; few know much about him at all. For Meraqî, every murder is a perfect crime—a dark instinct buried deep within human nature, leftover from humanity’s ancient hunter-gatherer days. He believes that while everyone carries some measure of a killer’s spirit, only a rare few possess the keen talents of a murder detective. True to his reputation, Meraqî solves each case within a week. His signature mark: severing the little toe of the culprit and preserving it in his eerie collection. He is the modern embodiment of the classic detective myth.
